| What is a Passer By? | Yes | We use the word Passer By as a colloquial term to describe a person who triggers (lights) the Beacon. They could be a literal passer-by, postal worker, neighbour, delivery person, emergency services worker and so on. |
| Can a passer-by leave a message?: | Yes | The passer-by can leave a message to help describe the situation and help you understand the problem. |
| Who will receive the message?: | Family & Friends & Managers | All the Family & Friends and Managers you have added will receive the messages from the passer-by. |
| Can I contact the passer-by?: | Yes | The passer-by is asked for their name and either their mobile number or email address. This is so you can reach out to them for more information. |

| Are QR code stickers included? | Yes | We send you a sticker pack unique with your own Beacon QR code and URL |
| Can the QR Code Stickers go outside? | Yes | Absolutely, the QR code stickers are designed to be durable and weatherproof. They're UV stable and we guarantee them for 4 years and they should last much longer. |
| Is Beacon data encrypted? | Yes | Yes, Family & Friends, the Manager and Passer-by details are encrypted. |
| Do I need an account? | No | You don't require an account at all on My-Beacon, it helps keeps things simple and secure. |
| Do I get E-mail notifications? | Yes | All Beacons support email notifications, and Managers are always notified by email. |
| Text Message notifications | Sometimes | This depends on which Beacon you choose. E-mail is always the backup method. |
| Can I add Text Message Credit | Yes | Yes, you can add Text Message Credit to your Beacon at any time. At the moment, the way to add Text Message Credit is to contact us via e-mail with your Beacon Alias ID and the amount of Credit you would like to add. |
