Beacons have been used over the centuries mainly to raise the alarm for pending invasions and other dangers. These Beacons would be constructed from wood and when lit would raise the alarm by using smoke during the day and fire at night. The Beacon's signal would travel far and wide.
Our Beacon service is about peace of mind - have you wondered how you will know if something goes wrong when you leave your home for a holiday, or caravan at the end of the season etc? Maybe it's storm damage, burst pipe, door left unlocked, your dog left in the car, an accident the list goes on. This is where the Warning Beacons of My-Beacon can be of service!
Our Beacon is simply a set of QR Code stickers you place on property you wish to protect - car, home, caravan, boat etc. If something goes wrong, people can scan the QR code (lighting your Beacon) and you will be notified that something has happened. This good Samaritan can also leave a message and provide a contact method so you can reach out to them for more information.
We have one on the front door of our home, just in case. I have one on my car, mainly for if my wife or I are in a crash, the Emergency Services can use the Beacon to notify us and our family. I also have one on the back of my motorcycle helmet!
Hopefully, Beacon will bring additional peace of mind to many.
Feel free to reach out and ask any questions you might have. You can Contact Us here.
Thanks, Phil
